Protect Your Data

Protecting your data is a major concern, whether you are online or offline. If your hard drive crashes-your data is lost if you have not backed it up. If directories are inadvertently deleted on your server it is your responsibility to replace the content. Yes, I know, doesn't sound too fair, but that is the way it goes. Granted there are some issues that are server issues- such as server crashes, inadvertent redirect to the wrong domain, etc, that is not within your control. However, it is important to control what you can so your business can continue.

Thus, I have included a quick list of some of the different data storage devices that you can use
to effectively protect your data. As always, the method is up to you.

Different Data Storage Options

1. Hard Drive and External Hard Drives
2. Flash Drives-USB Drives
3. CD
4. DVD
5. Zip Drives
6. Floppy Drive
7. Online Support

For complete details of some the different devices-longevity and their pros and cons, I have a permanent web page so I can add and change as the storage devices either become available or become obsolete. Check out the web page Protect Your Data.
