BlackBerry Bold vs iPhone 3GS Review

Gadget Review: BlackBerry Bold vs. iPhone 3GS. BlackBerry or iPhone? That is the question I hear every day from a person who received one of the cool gadgets. Well, my friends, this review will surely draw light on both phones, and hopefully you will be able to draw some conclusions at the end.

As you know from my previous post: Gadget Review: iPhone 3GS, I am quite happy iPhone owners. I do not own a BlackBerry Bold, but manymy friends are in possession of the competitiveness of Research In Motion (RIM) gadget. I played with him for several times, and I think I've established a pretty good "relationship" with the BlackBerry.

The BlackBerry Bold has a very sleek design, unlike its predecessors. I thought the look of this gadget very much. The QWERTY keyboard was always easy to use because the buttons are well designed for data input on this nice little gadget. Now, one of the major features on the BlackBerry Bold isthe screen. The gadget has a half VGA resolution 480 x 320 pixel color display. The quality of the picture is very crisp, and I would be very pleased to see the latest episode of Two and a Half Men. The e-mail on the Bold is excellent. I do not think that there is no real competition for this particular aspect of the BlackBerry, as it is the most important feature that RIM tried to improve on with each release of the new gadget. And of course there's the BlackBerry Messenger. Loved by many and the desiredby others. The BlackBerry service is free, and it has all the BlackBerry published. This cool digital gadgets reduces your bill heavily on text messaging. Now of course this is only for BlackBerry devices, so it makes it a unique feature of the RIM device.

Now for the review of the disadvantages .... Yes, there are always disadvantages! The BlackBerry Bold is quite large in size. The bulky size is not possible for seamless blending into your pocket. If RIM managed to reduce the sizeBlackBerry Bold to the effect that the Pearl sports, I think the customer base for the gadget would increase significantly. The BlackBerry Bold browser, while improving, are still possibilities, from a user-friendly interface. The navigation is with trackball that is in the middle of the gadget's done, the constant scrolling and navigating through the pages can be quite annoying and tiring. I hope that thinking about something for the future of RIM BlackBerry devices. The screen, while crisp is only a half the size. But that trade with most non-touch screen gadget is. Finally, the camera can be a desirable improvement. BlackBerry Bold in fact come with a flash and the camera is a 3.2-megapixel camera, but the Sony Ericsson Cyber-dwarfs the BlackBerry gadget in comparison, but we'll leave the Sony Ericsson gadget for further review.

The comparison of the BlackBerry Bold to the iPhone 3GS is a rather difficult task (as opposed to my previous comparison of the> IPhone and the Nokia N-95), because I think for both devices are intended for different markets and are designed for somewhat different purposes. But let us try and compare the two devices.

The screen comparison is relatively simple: you get a larger screen with the iPhone, but the quality is better on the BlackBerry Bold. Now, note that the screen on the iPhone is the glue that holds everything together. While it is, it is almost as largeYou could suffer crack all your eggs in one basket - so the screen to power the gadget. This is the double-edged sword type of touch screen phones!

If you are for real and tangible keys for data entry, rather like on the BlackBerry Bold, as contrary to digitized keyboards on the iPhone, the choice is pretty obvious it's really up to user settings. Personally, I happen to love the iPhone keyboard, but I have no problem with the BlackBerryeither, it's just that I prefer a larger screen and keyboard, the iPhone is a very efficient gadget.

The camera. To be honest, this comparison of the two devices on the picture taking aspect as "Special Olympics" are described race. Now I have nothing against the disabled population of our world, and an apology if you found it offensive, but simply to put it, are the two cameras, the iPhone and the BlackBerry Bold just not on par with what is outthere. IPhone trumps BlackBerry from 1.2 megapixels and a flash, but it's not really something that I would be proud to show to all my friends. Moving on.

E-mail. Absolutely no competition. BlackBerry devices have been developed for e-mails. IPhone is a decent and simple e-mail client, but have not even come close to the RIM gadget.

BlackBerry Messenger is something that I would have liked on my iPhone. I am a great admirer of the iPhoneText-messaging system, but if I can also send, free texts, well let's just say that even Gollum from Lord of the Rings would overlook his precious for a feature like that!

Browser. Once again, do not serve a competition, but this goes to the iPhone. Easy-to-large screen, fast Safari browser. Once you use the iPhone browser, I would venture to a gadget that Apple will find mobile aces. BlackBerry Bold is blown out the water, land, planet and solar system in thisDepartment.

Finally, the size of the two devices is very similar. Personally, I'm the slim form factor of the iPhone will find it extremely convenient, but it makes it brittle. Do not forget that in the back pocket, or you will end up with a beautiful spider web design on the screen of your precious gadget. The BlackBerry Bold, as mentioned above is quite bulky, but it makes it much more stable than the iPhone. I give them to the iPhone, but as with mostabove comparisons, this is again user settings.

The verdict .... and there is simply no winner in this fight. Many of the comparison of the two devices were ultimately based on user preferences. One must ask themselves: what should I use on my phone? If it's e-mail and organizational reasons, I recommend the Blackberry Bold. If it for fun and surfing, I recommend the iPhone. The choice is yours. Both devices are very suitable for implementationeach task, but their design and concept for these tasks is significantly different, and you're the one, to make the call - BlackBerry Bold or the iPhone.

I hope you find this useful gadget, and I welcome comments and discussions on the BlackBerry Bold or the iPhone. Both devices are amazing pieces of technology, but as this review outlines, the ultimate target audience is different.

Stay tuned for more reviews like this "Gadget Review: BlackBerry BoldiPhone vs 3GS ", from the gadget world.

Blackberry Storm PDA Phone Also Known As Blackberry 9500 Storm

The Blackberry Storm could be a real candidate for the iPhone killer, in response to the publication of the iPhone the standard of touch screen phones has reached new heights recently with the release of the Samsung Omnia, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 and the LG Renoir and the BlackBerry Storm is no exception.

This is not the first time a BlackBerry, RIM, which seems to appeal to everyone, but it is perhaps the first time they have packed into such astylish handset! Style is not looking for anything in consumer contracts and world phones come much better than when almost no ugly buttons. It is not just a pretty face either, as the storm is not everything that calls for the occasional user.

Involvement of an amazing animated touch screen like the HTC Touch Diamond, the BlackBerry Storm is one of the major product launches this year and already has a buzz in a highly competitive market, the evidence of the impact thisHandset is set to make. The Storm also features a 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi technology, GPS, BlackBerry Maps, HSDPA and integrated BlackBerry operating system.

This is both a business tool and a fun gadget, integrated access to e-mail for Professionals on the road running next to an improved music player, Wi-Fi connection for Internet use on the road combined with a high specification camera with video support for the Select You Tube videos.

For social networking --Addicts, there is the possibility to update and connect with friends in touch throughout the day for those who do not always have access to a computer. Direct access to the accounts means that it is easy to change the status or add a blog post all from your phone, anytime, anywhere.

In the conclusion of the BlackBerry Storm is the best in technology, design and features that RIM has to offer, when the facility is the flagship of the Storm is looking for an individual and from a variety of consumers, including teenagers, a new drag agocool phone, to businessmen and women, the all-inclusive communications device.

After months of speculation, revised release dates and general blog and forum posting rumors high specification BlackBerry Storm is now the full range of Vodafone monthly fees directly but is a network exclusive launch good for consumers?

The exclusive agreement signed between the producer and the network requires that the BlackBerry Storm will be sold only through the neton one of their many contract packages, the handset will not be on any other UK network operators is available, there is no way of comparing prices or for that matter any competition - the BlackBerry Storm has been developed exclusively for Vodafone.

This has obvious implications for consumers because there no way of knowing whether the networks have properties of value, in fact, the network can have their own prices, as the handset is located, can not be purchased elsewhere, the disposal of StormVodafone selected retailers but again have a say on pricing, not to sell themselves short.

Each phone has its own target audience, and so its important to assess how you want to use the phone in the first place and then what additional features would be important to you. Thus, it also important to consider how they play against aothers, especially if you do not necessarily have a specific need, but want only the best of the best.

Starting from the inside out, is one of the most important factors that you check with any phone, especially smart phones, the battery. This means that you are looking for an OEM battery on the way for a much cheaper price and can not be around without your precious Advanced Device worriesfor a minute, what in the business world for an eternity.

Another clear difference between the iPhone and the Bold is the keyboard. While the 3GS simply has the best touch-screen keyboard on the market, so that typing on it is a breeze, it's not as friendly as the physical tactile keyboard of the company Blackberry.

When comparing the cameras between the two, the iPhone has 3GS have higher megapixel camera, and generally tend to make better pictures. But the BlackBerry Bold 9700, is the successor to the Bold is in megapixel camera, which, like the iPhone on 3GS, but also with a better lens.

The 3GS, which offers two different memory sizes, is more important than the BlackBerry Bold, as the BlackBerry only up to 8 GB of external storage devices that hold the smaller size of the iPhone's internal storage 3GS equally.

Finally, perhaps the biggest advantage to the iPhone 3GS, that the operationSystem and availability of applications. There is no phone on the market offers as many applications as the iPhone, which is one of the most popular and most widely available for mobile phones is in demand today.

The truth is that the iPhone 3GS right now serves as a better all-round device than the BlackBerry Bold. The BlackBerry Bold is a better device for businesses, but also compete for consumers in search of a BlackBerry with the 3GS, you are better off waitingThe BlackBerry Bold 2nd
