Whoa, epic. Alright gents, it's up and running so have at it. I've got all updated stats and some nice new additions. As always, if you find a bug, let me know so I can fix it (hopefully we're past that stage). Everything is the same as it was before except that I've added some new additions listed below. I also removed the whole 'password' thing to make access easier to obtain. I'm going to also be shifting focus to the Baseball Analyzer (that should be fun) going forward, to have it ready for draft time. Enjoy!
-New Team Analyzer: I tested this as much as I could and it seems fairly legit. It basically compares the rank scores of the players you send against those you get. It also has a mod to provide a bonus for 2-1 trades (which are good) and a discount for 1-2 trades (which are usually not good). Use it as a nice guide, but the final decision on any trade is yours!
-Updated Team Analyzer tab: you can now select cells for copy, pasting. I added player ranks, player rank scores, a 'watch list' sheet for players you are targeting, and an 09 stats sheet to look at the players current stat lines.
I think that about does it. Hope you like what you see. Be sure to report bugs so I can fix them quickly!

Honestly this one is even better than the last team analyzer and I didn't think that was possible. Keep up the great work. Gonna try and spread the word about you as much as possible.
Bug: Looks like if you input more then 13 players the rank score isn't rounded off and is also not formated. =) Just lookin out, GREAT WORK NONE THE LESS!

Good stuff. But just by going on the numbers, Frye is worth 2x westbrook. I'm not sure why russell westbrook is ranked so low. He gets good numbers, mang. For instance if I give foye and Westbrook for Frye, I'm straight thievin, but we both no it's the contrary, no?

Pavel, don't know what to tell ya bor, Frye is having an outstanding year, and Foye hasn't done anything. The analyzer basically reads that as Westbrook for Frye, cause Foye has no value YET.

Hey Thief, the trade analyzer looks good but it definitely doesn't work for my league settings. I tried Bosh for Rashard and it said ink it. In my league Bosh is a top 10 player and Rashard is barely a top 100 player. Any luck on figuring out how I can make the Analyzers work for my league?

I hear ya. That's the thing though with my league. Individual categories don't matter. Total stats is what matters. The categories are pts, stl, reb, ast, blk, and to's. Every category is worth 1 point. All the points are added up together to come up with one score. A match is determined by most points scored, not most categories won. I'm wondering if there is a way to make the analyzer work for those settings as well? Thanks again.

ReplyDeleteFor KG: According to the Boston Globe, Doc Rivers that this time he is for sure that KG will be back in 10 more days. However, KG has not been conditioning since they just wanted him to heal and nothing else. Look for a little rust on KG's game when he returns.
For Pau: According to the Orange County Register, Pau is doubtful for Tuesday(Spurs). Which may mean he will miss Wednesday as well.(Mavericks). Let's hope he is able to return against the Clippers on Friday. ( I hope so!)

I forgot to mention that when I moved West to the bench, I took a player from the bench and put him in my starting line up.
ReplyDeleteHey Thief, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I swap a player out from my line up and into my bench, sometimes the sauce numbers change. For example, my FG % was yellow, then I moved David West to the bench and it turned green.

Hey Thief, I have another team that I never mentioned earlier because it was one of those public leagues where no one is active. I think there are only 5 teams out of 14 that still change their roster daily. This league the settings are by categories unlike the other one. I had a question concerning Andris Biedrins buy/sell/hold indicator on the player rater. He has a -2.32 and is shown as a Sell high player. I was under the belief that usually a player thought of as a sell high player was playing above expectations and is/was hot therefor making it logical to get as much as you can before he comes back down to earth. My question is why because he is certainly not playing up to expectations yet as he's being "eased" back into the rotation and though Anthony Randolph is out for 3-6 weeks it seems unlikely for him to get over 26-28 minutes a game within the next month due to the fact he is in a fight for minutes with Ronny Turiaf. Yes they could potentially play both on the court at the same time but thats highly unlikely and you never know if Vladimir Radmanovic will get back in the rotation at the power forward position. Well your thoughts on this and Biedrins future would greatly appreciated as with anyone else on here.

ReplyDeleteYa I thought it looked a little fishy, glad i could help. Looks like Radmanovic logged 34 minutes while Biedrins logged only 13 last night. Hopefully Don Nelson will wake up and start playing his money players unless Biedrins is still a little ways away from being 100%. I'd hate to see a great fantasy player like Biedrins not get the fantasy relevant stats to warrant a spot in a 10 team league.

Biedrins is still working his back into shape. Nellie is crazy, but Biedrins fits into Nellie's athletic thin Center profile. I have been trying to get him, but his owner will not relinquish. It sucks.

I was wondering if you (thief) or anyone else thinks he can get himself back to a double-double machine and great steals (for a center) with solid blocks type of guy before the all-star break. I was hoping to see 10.5 points, 10 rebounds, 55%+ field goal percentage, 0.8 steals, 1.2 blocks, 1.5 assist + the rest of the way.
