Affiliate programme. For example if you had one hundred visitors to one of your affiliate marketing programs you were promoting and got one sale then your CR would be one percent. One sale for each fifty visitors would be a CR of 2 percent and one sale for each 2 hundred visitors would be a CR of zero.
So what would be a good conversion proportion for an affiliate program? Well after much research I've seen an one percent CR is reasonably satisfactory. Five pc would be a little low and if you've got a CR of 3 p.c. then you're on to a winning affiliate marketing program. If you promote 1 service at your website your CR will be way higher. I see lots of references to affiliate marketing programs as a method to boost cash. I could be a producer of instructional media and use my site to market my products. As I'm not getting much traffic to my site, I'm wondering if an affiliate marketing programme would help me. This commission could be a share of the sale amount or a set buck figure. The more affiliate links the higher your CR will be. Don't let your site look like a flea market because your CR will be certain to go down. But don't expect the CR to rise overnite. A visitor today may only turn into a sale in six months time. So observe your conversion proportion and make it your goal to boost it.
