"Boon or a Bust".

Affiliate selling query - Should you join each affiliate marketing programme you'll be able to find or merely a few? There are a few thousands of affiliate marketing programmes on the net that you can join. But how does one decide which ones to join? There are 2 trains of thought in this area. First you can take the scatter gun approach, which is reasonably favored on the net, and join as many programs as possible. This makes sure that at least many of them will pay off. This way you can cut down your candidates. Well, as usual there are benefits and disadvantages to both but why not do what everybody else is not doing. Find a specific area that you have an interest in.

Example : Maybe your interest is in selling rare papyrus from Egypt and you find there's only 1 affiliate program devoted to this. They also change the content on a consistent basis to keep them coming back, and let them know when it does change. What do you believe the percentages are of somebody "stumbling across" your website when surfing the web? Again - slim to none. Concentrate all your time into marketing these programs - as you are so keen about the product or service you're selling, you will drive more centered traffic to your affiliate marketing program.
