"List Building 101" by Scott Lindsay gives you the basics of building your list the correct way. When you are looking to build a strong website you do not want to, through ignorance, send information to people who do not want to be on your list and who do not want to be spammed. The best option is to make sure it is an opt-in list, where you get verification from the individual that they do indeed want to be a part of your newsletter, list and all that goes with it. And don't abuse your list, excessive emails to your list will eventually find your list dwindling to nothing -- unless you can justify your actions to their satisfaction, not yours.
As always, quality content will keep people interested and wanting to read what you have to say. Without quality content you may have an uphill battle in building your list.

The process of list building may best be defined as a worldwide Rolodex. You have information to share, but it’s hard to let people know about it if your ‘Rolodex’ is empty.
List building is the process of gathering email addresses for the purpose of sending information, offers and other marketing information to clients and potential customers.
It might be tempting to gather all the email addresses you have in your email account and place them on a list to receive your information. You might also think that purchasing an email list from an online source might help you build your list, but there is a much greater likelihood that you will be reported as a spammer if the recipients don’t know you and isn’t thrilled to receive email from you.
Building an organic list can take time, but you stand a better chance of actually connecting with a receptive audience.
You may find that list building is best achieved by providing site visitors with information gathering forms. An autoreponder can often manage the automated distribution of the information they seek, but the customer information is gathered and can be used to invite them to participate in redeeming money saving offers from you. Some forms include an ‘already highlighted’ box that indicates the individual wishes to receive future e-offers. The premise behind this is many customers do not look at every field in the form and may not uncheck the box when submitting their information.
No matter the method you use to gather names in your list building process make sure to honor requests to unsubscribe. If you manage the list manually make sure to remove the name quickly or risk a report of spam.
One way to grow your list is to make sure the information you deliver is targeted, above average and something the client will look forward to receiving. The content could be information or it could be a simple sales flyer, but by staying on target you will be more likely to connect with your client.
Don’t abuse your list by sending them a significant volume of email. Carefully plan each mailing and make sure it is strongly related to your core objectives. If you send too much - too often you may be perceived as only slightly better than those incredibly annoying forwards that we all delete from our email files.
List building is a proven method of devising solid contacts for online marketing, but make sure to avoid spamming techniques – the reputation of your online firm may be at stake.

Are Images Driving Traffic Away
I periodically check the backend side of my FrontPage Reports to see if the load time for my web pages are where they should be. When I found that some of my web pages were loading slowly I knew that I had to revamp. But the question was how. I knew that it was probably my images that was causing the slow load times, so I needed to find a way to have images, without slowing my web page loading time.

Avoid Using Large Pictures
If at all possible avoid using large/heavy pictures that delay the uploading of your web page. If you do have large pictures, try using an on-line graphic optimizer tool to reduce the weight of the picture. The graphic optimizer tools can reduce the weight of your picture by more than 50% without any noticeable decrease in quality. If you want to do some experimenting with some of your large graphics but do not want to pay for the experiment, you can find a listing of free graphic optimizer tools by doing a quick search on Google for “graphic optimizers + free”.
Use Thumbnails
If it is appropriate for your site, thumbnails should be used. If done correctly, it can give the visitor a great experience, without frustrating them with long load time of the images.
If you have a lot of images, or want to have images on your site, use thumbnails. Thumbnail images load quickly and can you can have them enlarge if the visitor wants a closer look. Why are thumbnail images a benefit to your site?
You may have satellite or cable connections for your Internet access, but you have to remember that many others still have dial up. And let me add further, as other developing countries begin to have access to the Internet – they will be using dial-up in most cases. Translated, be aware of not only the aesthetic look of your site, but also how accessible your site is to the total online community.

The 120 x 90 pixels graphic also offered the best size in usability and download time.
Load Time—8 Seconds Or Less
What if you have large graphics on your site? If you are seeing a long load time when you bring up your own web page, you may want to try to optimize it. Why? Many surveys have been done, that shows that if a web page takes more than 8 seconds to load you can expect at least 1/3 of your visitors to click away in search of a competitors’ site.
To conclude, images are great for your site; they give your website/web page, color and greater richness. But if the load time is great, expect to lose visitors. You must take the time to design a web page with your visitor and their Internet capabilities in mind. If you have a long load time on some of your web pages, you should consider the options that I discussed above, and you may see an improvement in your click-thrus.

Sự trừng phạt của thượng đế…
Có phải ai khi đang sống đều cũng phải trả giá cho những gì mình đã nhận, đã làm không đúng.
Có phải những gì tôi đang nhận chính là sự trừng phạt đang dành cho tôi… cái quả ngày hôm nay có phải gặt từ cái nhân ngày trước.
Ba tôi tần tảo---> bị bệnh liên quan thần kinh, đau nửa đầu. Má tôi khó nhọc, quần quật ---> căng thẳng. Ba má tôi, kể từ khi tôi học lớp 9 đã bắt đầu la nhau, càng ngày càng nặng rồi đánh nhau. Tất cả những lỗi lầm ấy, tôi tự hiểu đều do anh em tôi mà ra. Giá như tôi biết lo lẵng, quan tâm đến cha mẹ như những đứa trẻ khác, có lẽ đều bất hạnh ấy đã không giáng xuống gia đình tôi.
Lên đại học, tôi rời xa ba má. Sống trong cảnh yên bình, chỉ biết lo học và chơi, hầu hết thời gian tôi quên mất đi hoàn cảnh gia đình mình. Những ngày về ít ỏi, không khiến tôi nhận ra cái vất vả về thể xác lẫn tinh thần của ba má. Ông bà cố giấu để chúng tôi yên tâm mà học. Lại học và chơi, tôi sống dựa dẫm hoàn toàn vào cái vất vả+cãi nhau mỗi ngày của hai người ở quê. Trước ngày tôi về đến quê trong hè, ba lại đánh má. Bước xuống ga tôi thấy bà tiều tụy hẳn đi, ốm và già. Má kể cho tôi nghe trong nức nở, tôi ngồi sau mà lòng thắt lại. Tôi muốn giận ba lắm, nhưng ổng là ba tôi, ổng đã vất vả khó nhọc làm việc nuôi tôi. Vả lại người lẽ ra đáng phải bị đánh bị giận phải là đứa con vô tâm ăn bám trên mồ hôi khó nhọc là tôi đây mới đúng. Vài hôm sau, ba má lại cãi nhau, ổng lại muốn đánh má. Tôi cố can, tôi cãi nhau với ổng…
Mọi chuyện đã lỡ xảy ra, có muốn hay không ba tôi cũng không hết bệnh ngay được, gia đình tôi cũng không thể trở nên hòa bình như xưa được. Giờ đây tôi cũng bất lực không thể ở cùng ba má để làm việc, giúp đỡ họ được. Tôi chỉ có thể cố gắng sống tiết kiệm. Ba má không còn phải làm nhiều, sẽ không phải mệt nhọc, sẽ không còm ròm nhau thường xuyên, gia đình chắc sẽ yên ấm hơn. Lúc nãy, cố gắng nói cho anh tôi hiểu cho những mặc cảm về tội lỗi của mình, lại nghĩ đến cha mẹ ở quê. Tôi lại khóc. Là thằng con trai tôi khóc có phải là yếu đuối lắm không? Tôi mặc kệ, tôi lo cho ba má tôi ở nhà.
Sự trừng phạt dành cho tôi đã đến và sẽ còn đến nữa. Đã đến lúc tôi xem lại bản thân mình. Tôi phải thay đổi nó. Tôi hiện tại đang nghĩ về tôi những ngày qua. Tôi những ngày qua không tốt. Tôi những ngày qua mới bị một anh cùng phòng lần thứ hai hăm đánh. Tôi những ngày qua lúc sáng ngồi đau suốt mấy tiếng, tái xanh mà người đó không lời hỏi han. Tôi những ngày qua chắc chắn đã phạm những sai lầm trong cuộc đời. Và tôi sợ tôi - ngày mai - sẽ lại giống tôi những ngày qua.
Tôi rất ít khi nói về nội tâm bản thân, nói về gia đình mình. Tôi vẫn hay giấu, lãng tránh những điều đó. Nếu có ai đó đang đọc những dòng này, hiểu cho tôi! Tôi ko muốn như vậy... Tôi đang rất khó khăn…

Online Business-- Do You Really Want One?
There are many people, when they first look at the Internet, assume that getting a website up and running is simple. And to work a website is a kick your feet up, and wait for the money to roll in kind of business. I wish. But it is really hard work.
I wrote this article due in part to a conversation I had with an individual, who's husband wanted her to put up a website for him. He had no typing skills, minimal knowledge of the Internet -- while she had the typing skills and knowledge of the Internet. Except, she was missing one very important quality to obtain any success on the Internet. Passion. She stated that she had no interest at sitting at a computer all day -- and didn't believe that what her husband was selling would be of value to Internet seekers.
I'm positive that what her husband was selling, would be of value to a very tight niche. But, alas, he did not have the skills to achieve his dream, but was relying on another person to do the work for him--for free. I'm afraid it's not going to happen.
Thus, before venturing onto the Internet, either obtain the skills needed, or be a quick study -- and don't try to push someone into your dream. Do you really want an online business? This is a simple question, but you should really mull over what you are getting into, and whether you really can or want to make the commitment. People who are new to the Internet, are sometimes mislead into believing that a website is easy to do. The answer to that belief is -- Yes and No. I’ll give you a hint at what skills, and basic needs you will have to consider before venturing blinding into an online business.
Computer Skills
First and foremost, you should enjoy working on a computer. Why? You will find that you may have to commit quite a few hours on the computer when you are building your online business. If you don’t enjoy the computer, you might want to rethink your options. Thus, computer skills is very helpful.
Second, to eliminate frustration and keep your productivity up, you should have some keyboarding skills. If you have some familiarity with the keyword, you're be okay. I know, you may say, I peck with two fingers. So!! I've seen people peck with two fingers and type at 35 wpm - however, they can't do it in the dark. They look at the keyword. But trust me, if you type long enough, things will get easier.
Third, since you are going to be the chief cook and bottle washer of your business, you also need to know how to maintain your computer. On the Internet you need to protect your computer from hacker attacks. So acquaint yourself and your computer with internet security software which is the best if you're working online because it includes, anti-virus, anti-spam, and firewall all in one – you won’t regret the outlay.

You should have some basic Internet skills. Such as, uploading and downloading images, and files from the Internet, and understanding basic Internet terminology – the rest will come later. I’m not saying you can’t learn it – you can. But the quickness of your success will pretty much be gauged by what Internet knowledge you bring to the table when you first begin online.

This one is important. Okay, you may be saying – “Email is email. What is the big deal? But on the Internet, you will be acquainted with scammers. Phishing scams abound. It is the newbie that these people hope to catch.
For instance, if you receive an email stating that there is something wrong with your account, and to click on the link to verify that it is okay – DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK. If you do, you’ve just invited a hacker, worm or virus on to your system.
Your Passion
With any business, online or offline, you must have a passion for what you want to venture into. Why? Passion is the juice that will get you up in the morning and to your computer-even when you are ill.
Your passion will even make you think differently about any situation you may face in your online journey. Think about it, if you like what you do, any bump in the road – is just that—a bump in the road. If you hate what you are doing – any bump in the road will derail you. If you don’t have the passion, don’t even think about setting up a website.
Building A Website
If you want to build a website, but you don’t have any programming knowledge, don’t fret. Most web hosting services offer programs that can get you building your own website without any programming knowledge. But you still have to do the work.
Working Your Site
Learning how to make your site profitable will take time, if you have little or no knowledge. You just can’t put a website up and say, “Here is my creation people now come to my site”. It would be nice if it worked that way, but alas, it doesn’t.
You have to invite the search engines to your site. How do you do that? You have to optimize your site for the search engines – and then let the search engines and your target market know that you are out there. Search engine optimization is a long-term strategy of getting hits to your site. It’s long-term because you have to tweak and incorporate keywords into your site without taking away from the quality of the content that you want to give to your audience. After optimization is done, then you should submit your site to the search engines for indexing.
Advertising
You need to advertise your new site on the Internet. Several ways is through press releases and articles.
Press releases will get your site quickly out on the Internet. And articles, they can give you great one-way links that your website needs. And, that small resource box at the end of your article will, or should, entice traffic to your site – which is usually your target market.
As you can see, there is more to setting up a website, and you must have the total picture of what you are venturing into before you lay out your hard earned cash. But, if you have the passion, have the skills – or are a quick study, go for an online business and reap the rewards that it can offer you. What rewards? To name just a few: self-confidence, self-respect, self-worth and money.

06_ 10 Khó khăn tạo đà vươn tới...
Lần phát biểu ra mắt BCH Chi Hội mới trước đại hội, bất chợt mình không nghĩ ra lời nào để nói, rùi cười. Mọi người bảo mình xúc động quá, hay dzui quá. Nhưng thật ra mình đâu chỉ vui bởi phần nhiều cảm xúc là buồn+ thất vọng.
Cả từ buổi sáng lẫn mấy hôm trước tớ với thằng Nhã chạy đôn chạy đáo lo cho cái Đại hội, với hy vọng là sẽ làm cho thật “hoành tráng” hay chí ít cũng phải thật bài bản. Nhất là sáng nay, vừa phải đi dự Đại hội của các lớp khác theo lời mời và cũng là để rút kinh nghiệm tổ chức lại dzừa phải lo vụ mượn phòng. Đại hội diễn ra gần quá không có thời gian kịp chuẩn bị phòng từ trước, chiều nay diễn ra rùi, làm sao viết giấy mời Đại biểu. 10h55 sau khi dự xong hai Đại Hội --> lấy được giấy mượn phòng. 11h Mời một anh ở trong BCH Liên chi Hội. 11h10, mời thêm hai lớp năm nhất. 11h30 chạy về đến nhà thằng Nhã, rùi lo cái dụ bản Báo cáo. Hôm trước làm ở nhà mình, nhưng hôm sau sơ sẩy lại ghi đè lênà thế là mất toi công. Cũng may chép cho thằng Nhã một bản…. thế mà chị nó lại format USB mất tiêu…
Mọi chuyện dồn dập quá, khiến thằng Nhã bị áp lực, nó trông thật sự mệt mỏi. Còn mình, lần đầu tiên tham gia tổ chức một Đại hội từ A-Z, tuy không bị những sự cố làm rối, nhưng mà cũng giống như thằng Nhã: thật sự thất vọng vì sự có mặt lèo tèo của các thành viên trong lớp. Có đến 46 Hội viên trong lớp, dzậy mà hiện diện chỉ có 25 thành viên. Có đứa bảo hơn nửa lớp là mừng rồi--> phải hông? Nặng trĩu….
Đại hội thất bại vì phần lớn Đại biểu không đến dự <-- lỗi của ban tổ chức, nhưng lí do quyết định lại do sự thiếu quan tâm của gần 1/2 thành viên trong lớp --> lỗi này một phần do BCH cũ. Một vài thành viên vắng mặt thật sự có những lý do chính đáng, còn số còn lại…????? ngay cả một số người từng là cán bộ lớp, một số sắp tới sẽ ứng cử vào BCH chi Đoàn. Liệu với thái độ và tinh thần thiếu tôn trọng như thế, họ đã hiểu và sẽ hiểu phong trào Đoàn Hội trong lớp và trong trường như thế nào?
Tính trang nghiêm của một Đại hội không còn, thay vào đó là sự nặng nề trọng tâm trí đoàn Chủ tịch…khác hoàn toàn với suy nghĩ+ mong đợi.
Tuy nhiên, đoàn Chủ tịch cũng phải cố hoàn thành nhiệm vụ, cũng phải cười lạc quan trong Đại hội. Qua việc này, mình biết là sẽ thật khó khăn để hoàn thành bản Phương hướng đã đề ra, nhưng mà khó khăn trước mắt là phải kết nối các thành viên trong lớp, tạo sự nhiệt tình của các bạn vào phong trào Đoàn Hội. Dzậy là có thêm một việc quan trọng để làm trong thời gian tới. Liệu mình có khả năng hoàn thành không? Có hay không thì mình cũng phải cố gắng, mình bị cái là khi đã bắt đầu làm việc gì thì đều cố gắng hết sức mình.

05_10 Ngày đầu tiên đi làm công tác xã hội.
Sau biết bao cơ hội bỏ qua, hôm nay tớ mới được lần đầu tiên làm 1 công việc ý nghĩa. Từ lâu rùi, tớ đã tâm niệm rằng mình sẽ làm thật nhiều thật nhiều điều cho những người không may mắn như mình. Dẫu hơi muộn màng nhưng tính ý nghĩ của nó khiến mình cảm thấy: “rất là dzui”.(^_^)!!
Cả bọn bước vào trung tâm, chắc ở đó không ai ngờ là có đoàn đến sớm + đông thế. Ấn tượng đầu tiên đập vào tớ chính là những cậu bé, cô bé với khuôn mặt trắng trẻo, có một cậu đang đứng trên cầu thang trông rất đẹp trai (hơn chắc tớ nhiều lần rùi!) nhưng khi nó đi, tay nó rũ xuống, miệng méo lại ---> nói sao đây. Không có một chương trình nào chuẩn bị trước, nhưng ai cũng muốn vào từng phòng ngay với các bé và chắc có lẽ không ai thoát khỏi cái bối rối không biết ứng xử sao với chúng nó ngoài… cười!!!! Tụi nó cũng cười lại, tớ chia lồng đèn cho chúng, mỗi đứa được một cái. Trò đầu tiên là rút tay, cái trò mà một người chìa bàn tay ra để mọi người bỏ tay vào rùi 1,2 3! Rút!! Đứa nào bị bắt lại là thui, dĩ nhiên nó là người được bắt lần tiếp theo. Rùi chơi bịt mắt bắt dê, đập tường, rùi nặng tượng, rùi cả múa nữa… à à trò thứ hai là một trò khác, tớ không biết tên, nhưng mà cụ thể mình bắt một đứa lại, những đứa khác theo hiệu lệnh chỉ của mình sẽ chạy đụng vào một vật nào đó rùi đi ngồi hai tay cho tới khi đụng tớ, thằng bị bắt phải đi bắt những đứa khác, những đứa nào chạy hoặt đi hơi cao. Trò đó với trò bịt mắt bắt dê là hay hơn cả, mình chơi lăn lóc với tụi nó đến mệt nghỉ luôn!! Tất cả tụi nó đểu không nói được, cả nghe nữa cũng không, nên thật sự tớ không nghĩ ra được nhiều trò chơi với chúng nó được, hầu hết các trò chơi trên là do tụi trẻ bày cho tụi mình chơi cùng. Tụi nó tuy không nói được nhưng không phải cái đầu đều không bình thường, chỉ có vài đứa hơi thiểu năng thui, còn có những đứa rất là thông mình. Điều đáng tiếc khi cả một thời gian đầu mình không nhận ra điều ấy. Có đứa bảo mình chơi Caro tệ nữa sau khi đánh bại mình mấy ván liền. Dĩ nhiên là mình thả rùi!!! Mình muốn khuyến khích tụi nó cố gắng lên. Tụi nó điều bình thường cả mà. Mình thấy thắc mắc liệu không được học ở trường chuyên dành cho trẻ câm điếc lại học cùng với một số đứa chậm chạp khác có khiến tụi trẻ này không thể phát triển hơn những đứa khác không?? Dẫu sao các cô ở trung tâm điều cố gắng hết sức cho trẻ, và tất cả đều có một trái tim thương trẻ hết mình. Thử nghĩ rằng bạn sẽ chắm sóc những đứa trẻ ấy suốt cả ngày, cố gắng dạy nó chữ, phép toán. Cứ thế hết nhiều ngày, nhiều năm. Mình thấy rất quý những người như thế!!
Có một điều dzui là, khi mình bỡ ngỡ không biết phải giao tiếp với chúng như thế nào? Không biết hướng dẫn chúng chơi như thế nào? Chỉ bắt chước tụi nó & cô giáo chỉ chỏ ngón tay lung tung. Dzậy mà tụi bạn khen mình giỏi thật---> bó tay luôn, rùi bảo mình biết cách giao tiếp với tụi nhỏ mới dzui dzui chứ. Có những điều trong trò chơi mình ra dấu tay ý bảo tụi nó làm như thế này, tụi nó lại hiểu cách khác, nhưng rùi lại khiến trò chơi thêm dzui thêm thú dzị.
Đi từ sáng sớm cả bọn phải gói quà, làm hoa cho toàn bộ tụi nhỏ (khoảng 85 đứa) rùi làm một cái lồng đèn thiệt to cho chúng. Mệt nhưng chắc đứa nào cũng thấy dzui, dzà chắc cũng muốn thêm nhiều lần nữa sống có ích cho mọi người.

Content With RSS Feeds
If your website homepage is static, with little changed content, then an RSS feed can help you keep it fresh. As Jason OConnor states, it will keep the search engine spiders happy as well. This is a quick read, by Jason OConnor's-- "How To Keep Your Website Fresh With RSS" --gives you the how to of putting an RSS feed on your site.
How To Keep Your Website Fresh With RSS

One of the biggest reasons people visit websites is to get information. If you can regularly provide fresh, quality contenton your website you can expect to be rewarded by visitors and return visitors. What's more, you will be rewarded by the search engines. I recommend that you add new and original content to your site as often as possible, ideally once a day.
Regularly adding fresh and original content:
* Keeps your site visitors coming back
* Continually adds value to your website
* Makes people more comfortable buying from your site
* Establishes yourself as an authority in your industry
* Greatly helps your site rank higher in search engines
All of the above factors translate into revenue.
We all know how hard adding original and fresh content is, especially if you're the business owner. You have to be original, creative, organized, thoughtful and motivated, and above all, able to write. So what's a website owner or business owner supposed to do? RSS may be the answer.
What Is RSS?
Here's the Wikipedia definition of RSS:
RSS is a family of web feed formats specified in XML (a genericspecification for data formats) and used for Web syndication. RSSdelivers its information as an XML file called an "RSS feed","webfeed", "RSS stream", or "RSS channel". These RSS feeds provide a way for users to passively receive newly releasedcontent (such as text, web pages, sound files, or other media); this might be the full content itself or just a link to it, possibly with a summary or other metadata (data describing the content).
RSS feeds are operated by many news web sites, weblogs, schools, and podcasters.
"RSS" can stand for any of the following phrases:
* Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0) * Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91, RSS 1.0) * RDF Site Summary (RSS 0.9 and 1.0)
Want to see an example of RSS in action? Go to the Oak Web Works, LLC homepage , and look at thebottom of the right-hand column under the title 'Latest TechNews'. This is actually two RSS feeds from other websites.
Our company homepage was very static. It didn't change very much since the services we offer stay basically the same. Why should any visitors come back if every time they come to our site, the content is exactly the same? They don't have much of a reason.
Interestingly, that's the way search engine spiders were programmed to "think" as well. Spiders are programs written for search engines to regularly surf the Web and record what's there. That recording goes into the search engine's databases ready to be accessed by the next searcher. This process is called indexing.
For example, Google will send out a spider to your site and index a lot of it, but not always all of it. It determines how often to revisit and index your site by how often you update it. If you update it every day, then it will visit much more often than if you rarely update it. Engines also consider the homepage to be the most important page, so it's good to update it even more often than the rest of your site.
Again, if you struggle with adding fresh content, then RSS may be the answer. We didn't write the headlines under 'Latest TechNews' on our homepage. Instead, the RSS feed automatically grabbed it from another site that had created them. Once we set the feed up, we don't have to do anything more, and our homepage has regularly updated content. Every time those headlines change, it updates its feed, which is then updated on any other websites displaying that feed, as well as ours.
RSS feeds can be more than news headlines. They can be lists of any kind. They can be press releases, articles, blog entries, product releases, or almost any other grouping of changing or growing data.
How Do I Set An RSS Feed Up?
There are a number of ways in which you can display an RSS feedon your website. You can use JavaScript or various other scripting languages. Unfortunately, RSS that uses JavaScript is not seen at all by search engines when they come and index your site, so don't use JavaScript.
Instead, use a script that can be handled by your Web server besides JavaScript. Ask your hosting company or IT people what platform your Web server uses and what software or modules areloaded onto the machine. This will determine what scripting language you can use for your RSS.
Check if your Web server has PHP capabilities. If so, then there are hundreds of scripts written in PHP that you can use for free that properly display RSS feeds that are recognized by search engines. There are RSS scripts written in ASP.NET, Perl and numerous other languages, so you have a wide variety to choose from.
For the Oak Web Works, LLC homepage we used an ASP script called RSStoHTML. Which one would you choose? After you've determined which languages your Web server supports, conduct a search such as 'PHP script for displaying RSS feeds in html' or 'ASP and RSS', for example. Try a few and see which ones run on your server. If one runs on your server properly, and you check this by simply seeing if it displays RSS feeds on your Web page, then use that one.
When you download the script, look at the code and find where to add an RSS feed URL. There should be a dummy one in the real ready, so just replace that one with the RSS feed you want to use. Here's what a typical RSS feed URL looks like:
http://nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/userland/Technology.xml The URL's often end in '.rss' as well.
After we inserted the RSS feed URL into the script, we wanted to display the feed in HTML on our homepage. To do this we added the following bit of code into the spot on our homepage html code where we wanted it to display:
Keep in mind that this is for a Windows Web server. The way in which you include it on a website powered by a UNIX Web server will be a little different. If you're not sure, ask your hosting company.
Where can I find feeds that are relevant to my website's content?
First you can try these:
* Syndic8 - http://www.syndic8.com/ * Feedster - http://www.feedster.com/
You can also do a search for your topic and RSS feeds. For example, search for "RSS feeds and pets', or 'football and RSS feeds', or 'small business news feeds'. Finally, you can go to specific websites that are related to your industry and look for a small, orange, rectangular icon that says 'RSS' or 'XML'. Click on that and you'll get a feed URL to enter into your RSS feed script.
Remember, always be sure to include feeds that are relevant to your website's content. Once you get the hang of the concept, RSS can be a lot of fun, and it definitely keeps your website fresh and updated, just what search engines like, and more importantly, what website visitors like.

Sinh viên năm nhất và năm hai!!
Bó tay luôn!!! tự dưng mình gõ nãy giờ. ông trời ổng cho cúp điện một cái....
Thui viết ngắn gọn lại, 2 tuần này mình bị stress. Áp lực học tốt chương trình trên lớp mà phải dành nhiều thời gian học tiếng Anh cho một mục đích khác. Khiến mọi thứ đối với mình trở nên khó khăn hơn, trong những quyết định, trong việc tiếp nhận và giải quyết một vấn đề nào đó!!! Mình bỏ quên những thói quen hàng ngày, chẳng còn đến thư viện, không vào nhà sách coi cọp, chẳng viết blog, thậm chí rơi nốt thói quen thèm lên internet luôn.
Giờ thì mới thật sự hiểu tại sao người ta gọi sinh viên năm nhất là những freshman. Những người trên khuôn mặt luôn tươi rói nụ cười.. Còn sinh viên năm hai.....---> khổ rùi bà con ui!!!!
Hè hè, cũng may giờ thì mình đã thu xếp được một cách để giảm áp lực rùi!!! Đời mình lại là một khúc quân hành, đời mình vẫn là một bài ca vui ve!!!
