Get Your Customers Wanting More Using Autoresponders

Most Internet Marketers use Autoresponders to stay in touch with their potential customers who have already opted into their list. If you are an Internet Marketer and you do not use an Autoresponder then go find yourself an autoresponder, learn the basics and get it automating your business.

Autoresponders are used in a multitude of ways. Initially they are used to capture potential customers and hold their e-mail address details. Once you have these within your autoresponder then you can remain in touch with your client base by sending out a series of e-mails to keep your clients informed of new offers, interesting information within their niche area and by this enable you to make money. These e-mails can be sequenced and then automatically sent out by the autoresponder on a basis scheduled by you.

As everybody realises in the internet marketing area, potential customers are always looking for information, sometimes they will pay for it, however they are also keen on getting pertinent information delivered to them for free. This is where the autoresponder becomes your pot of gold.

When you sequence follow up e-mails you can alternate between selling mails and free information mails and have this all automatically sent out by your autoresponder. Readers may be wondering what you can send out for free and how do you find all these freebies to distribute?

Well, take a simple scenario. When you started out in Internet Marketing you had to do the basics such as buying a domain name, building a website and then hosting the website. Now once you have completed this cycle a number of times it becomes second nature, however for a newbie to Internet Marketing this may be a completely new area and fill them with horror at the thought of completing these tasks.

Well, you could build a training course showing the new user how to buy the domain, initial assistance on building a website and getting it hosted. You could probably break this into at a minimum three short courses or build it into say six or seven mini courses. If you are sending out an autoresponder message twice a week to your client base you now have six or seven free informational e-mails which will last for up to six weeks. In between sending out these mini courses you can send autoresponder mails selling your offers.

In this way your customer is actually looking forward to receiving your e-mails as they see the training as helping them develop their business and will certainly not unsubscribe from your list during the training. You will certainly want to ensure that your course is of such good quality that your opted in users will see value in it. Delivering a badly put together course is even worse then sending them nothing at all. Build the course well and your customer will appreciate the information and more importantly view you as an expert in the field and will look to you for further information and products to help them grow their business or just to be introduced to products they are interested in buying.

Autoresponders are a fantastic tool for the Internet Marketer and time should be taken to learn about them to use them to their full potential. Have a plan for the messages you want to sequence and take the time to make them of value to your clients. As the title says Get Your Customers Wanting More!
