We may laugh at that, but I've actually adults who seem to believe the same thing. As long as there are checks in the checkbook, they act as if they have money to spend. I've known many people who base all their spending decisions on what their current bank account balance is.
It seems that this is a natural tendency. As bills, expenses, and wants come up, if there's enough in our bank account, we spend it. If we happen to have extra income, then great! We treat ourselves to a reward of something new.
The true principle behind myth number two is this: Your bank account balance cannot predict that which you are not prepared for.
There are three types of things, in particular, that your bank account can't predict.
First, your bank account can't predict variances in income. Many people who are self-employed or paid on a commission basis have incomes that vary widely from month-to-month. My first year as a tax accountant, I earned my entire annual income in the first four months of that year. I had to manage my money well for the remaining eight months of the year, or else November and December became very lean months.
Second, your bank account balance cannot predict periodic expenses. Many regular expenses don't come every month. Those expenses that come once a year or once every six months tend to be some of our largest individual expenses. The bank account alone does a poor job of preparing us for these types of expenses.
Third, your bank account balance can't predict when Murphy will strike. You're probably familiar with Murphy's Law: The worst thing that can happen will--and at the worst possible time. When Murphy strikes you may find yourself faced with having to replace the furnace, make major car repairs, pay an unexpected hospital bill, or deal with other similar financial crises. People who rely on the bank account balance as their sole money management tool often find that the only option they have to deal with these crises is to go into debt.
During my first year of college, I lived about forty-five minutes away from campus. I worked on campus, and once I got to campus in the morning, I tended to stay there until 8:00 or 9:00 at night. So, I tended to buy two meals a day at the student union or at one of the fast-food restaurants that surrounded the campus. Each of these two steps can be readily accomplished by anyone. There is no particular requirement of income level, profession, or academic degrees. But, following these two steps requires an ongoing discipline and focus. Managing money solely by the balance in your bank account does not give you the tools you need in order to exercise that discipline and focus.

2. You need to build a list of people with whom to build a relationship with, (Your Own List) one that you own. This way you can transfer it any time, or when a company you have been promoting goes out of business, it dosn’t matter because you own your list. A push of a button and your back in business. Every subscriber is = to a dollar a month on average, internet wide. So roughly speaking if you have 1000 people on your list, you will be making 1000 dollars a month. With the system I have been using every subscriber has been worth 3 dollars or more.
3. You need to put an optin form on your websites and in all traffic programs you use such as traffic exchanges. Do not waste time promoting a affiliate page or sales page directly, you will be wasting your time. Raw traffic converts very poorly when using a direct sales page!
4. You need to create and use a splash or squeeze page to advertise in sites that give you free traffic, this is the number one way to utilize free traffic. Believe it or not free traffic works very well. I average around 250 new subscribers every month from free traffic.
5. You need to utilize downline builders in your marketing to build referrals in your favorite traffic programs and safelist to take advantage of the full effect of them, which is free traffic that reproduces itself ON ITS OWN, Over And Over Again!
6. You need products that stack your income (Not Multiple income streams) Stacked income uses leverage that offers something of value that automatically increases your prospects income (not Yours) The Money is not in the list,True wealth does not come from a list, or an affiliate product, or MLM or network marketing. It is found in lasting relationships and helping others prosper, The right way.
7. You need a very inexpensive lead in product, again that offers value or a solution to a problem. So people will want to subscribe to your autoresponder to get more information. It should be a product that offers your prospect a way to make more money, that actually works
Internet marketing is very simple, most people refuse to do it the right way, for some reason people who fail miserably over and over again think they know how to do it better than the people who are making millions of dollars a year online???#?*? Its all a bunch of crap and hype, thats why you joined........they pray on it! I know they said if you bought this twitter program to get billions of followers you would surely be rich, No you wont You don’t have a list like they do all ready. This is what they are doing selling you products on auto pilot from their autoresponder why they are sitting on a beach somewhere in Mexico (Wouldnt You Like To Be Sitting On A Beach Some where)? They offer you something of value but they don’t give you the whole picture, the whole picture is what I wrote in the steps above. If you don’t use a proven system or follow some one who is already doing it, forget it you are going to fail! There is an exact process to making money online, EXACT. I don’t care if you are following me or someone else who is actually building their business the right way, there is still no way around the steps I outlined above. Everything you do should revolve around building your list. If you still think your way is better, keep doing what your doing and you will be a slave to the internet the same way you are a slave to your job and you will make very little money....if any?
